IDE Software Version and Configuration Identification¶
Status: Engineering configuration record; Build 843 approved for IDE submission and evidence accepted Updated: 2026-09-08
This record separates the frozen source, exact-freeze verification inputs, signed Build 843 tester archive, eventual deployable study build, and documentation package. These identities must not be treated as interchangeable.

Documentation-only commits after the source freeze do not alter this product baseline. Any product source, build configuration, algorithm input, or dependency-resolution change requires a new configuration identity and an impact-based rerun decision.

Build 843 includes tracked build-configuration inputs and an exactly resolved
dependency manifest. It passed strict code-sign verification. Full details are
in BionicLoop_1_0_843_Tester_Release_Record.md.
Archive 843 is the controlled build approved for IDE submission. CC-DEV is
the Scout service environment compiled into Build 843 through
CC-DEV.xcconfig. Scout is supportive and does not affect local dosing. A
different service environment requires a new build identity and corresponding
delta assessment. CC-DEV is confirmed for participant use under D12.
4. IDE Submission Build¶
Status: Build 843 approved for IDE submission on 2026-09-03. Source identity, archive number, and installed build number remain separate controlled identities.
The controlled record for the designated build includes:
- archive/build number and immutable archive checksum
- source tag and full source commit
- resolved dependency manifest and build-configuration checksums
- signing identity, entitlements, provisioning profile, and distribution record
- device/subject assignment and install confirmation
- relationship to the exact-freeze evidence
- any required regression or companion execution
- Sponsor/Regulatory and designated software-evidence approval
Apple accepted archive 843 with its symbols, and installed Build 843 identity
plus real-Pod supporting evidence are recorded in Appendix A10B. Evidence,
residual-risk, and final package acceptance are recorded under D07, D08,
and D11.

Package identity is recorded through a reproducible two-stage process so no document is required to contain its own hash:
- Stage 1 - source correction commit. Commit the controlled Markdown, manifests, build script, and styles. This immutable commit is the package source commit.
- Stage 2 - rendered-artifact manifest. Build both PDFs from the exact
Stage-1 commit, then create
IDE_Software_Package_Release_Manifest_2026-08-21.mdrecording the Stage-1 source commit, controlled document revisions, PDF filenames, SHA-256 hashes, generation timestamp, draft/release status, and approval state. Commit the manifest and generated PDFs separately.
The Stage-2 manifest is the authoritative package identity. A draft package must not be represented as approved or submission-ready merely because its hashes are recorded.
